A Refreshing Break from a Dry Year
After over a year of people in England living under COVID restrictions, the nation has come together behind our national football team and its growing momentum.
As Harry Kane and Co continue to impress in the Euro 2020 competition our thirst for national footballing success may finally be starting to be quenched. As the painful memories of England’s footballing woes are being eased and COVID restrictions are starting to be released its feels as if the tides are changing in England.
An inspired and resolute Denmark team stand between England and the finals. Whilst, we remain cautiously optimistic, no one can deny that the chants of ‘it’s coming home’ bring a smile to everyone’s lips. Fingers crossed that the whole nation has another night to celebrate and remembers to stay hydrated during their jubilations (our choice of refreshment is of course our mineral water - but we appreciate that many will prefer to opt for beer...)
